Registration for Degrowth-Descrecimiento Conference *closes 31 July*

The registration platform for the 2018 North South Conference on Degrowth-Descrecimiento Mexico City will remain open until July 31, 2018, accepting new registrants to participate only as attendees.
There is a new reduced registration fee for academics, professionals, and trade union members from the Global South: 160 euros.
The following plenary speakers have confirmed their attendance: Aleida Azamar (Mexico), Andrea Neira (Colombia), Barbara Muraca (Italy), Daniel Cerezuelle (France), David Barkin (Mexico), Dianne Rochelau (United States), Enrique Leff (Mexico), Federico de María (Spain), Friederique Appfel Marglin (France), Henry Mora (Costa Rica), Gustavo Esteva (Mexico), Homero Aridjis (Mexico), Humberto Beck (Mexico) , Joan Martínez Alier (Spain), Manish Jain (India), Maristella Swampa (Argentina), Peter G. Brown (Canada), Sylvia Marcos (Mexico), Susan Paulson (United States), Ulrich Brand (Germany).
Also, Professor Ralph Hall of Virginia Tech will present his forthcoming book Technology, Globalization and Sustainable Development, coauthored with professor Nicholas Ashford of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
